Young Dapper
YOUNG DAPPER, born Eric Mathis is the next Superstar Prince of Hip Hop. This Boston cutie is a sensation at only twelve years old yet he been singing and acting ever since the age of three. He has created such a prodigious buzz on the internet and on-air radio that he is featured in Hip Hop Weekly Magazine’s June issue. He has a smash hit single video, “Ringtone Girl” and recently recorded a remix to Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair.” He has appeared on 106 & Park with Mindless Behavior and Little Twist from Young Money.
The young star composes a musical style that combines tasteful Hip Hop and R&B appropriate for his young audience. He has recorded several successful upbeat songs (“For You,” “Rockin It,” “Inni Mini Mini Mo”…) and continues to perform them with his relentless schedule. His stage presence is monumental showcasing his brilliant talent, charisma, and swag with such ease. Most recently he performed at Diggy’s Simmons Young Siege Classic Concert in NY. His “Remake of the World” mixtape sold fifteen thousand units, aired on top radio stations in New York and Boston, and was even hosted by Kev Connect. The next project “Classic” is a mixtape possessing both old and new classic hip hop beats presently in production. Young Dapper is also involved in collaboration with Slick Rick for the “Hey Young World” remake. Collaborations with Young Money and Mindless Behavior transpire as well.
Young Dapper already has impressive and extensive acting credentials. He has been in an Off-Broadway Production, guest starred in FX Television Production: The Louie Show, and was recently cast in an Adonis Williams feature film. He is already involved in pre-production for several upcoming films (including a Universal Studios and Paramount Movie) and has more scheduled guest appearances on Television shows. He recently auditioned for a promising gig as host for B.E.T.’s new Kid Talk Show that focuses on Teen culture, issues, and music.
Young Dapper was discovered at the age of nine by well respected and well-known producer QC Funk. He came across one of his many YouTube videos and immediately felt compelled to contact his mother. Soon after, they were in a New York City studio recording hit music.
This benevolent young man has a genuine interest in servicing his community. He is currently on tour with the NFL/Applebee’s Charity Event across America. His ambition to service others continues to grow. He is in contact with the Boys and Girls Club of America and several youth camps to work with this summer.
Young Dapper is expected to be a success with imminent fame. The exciting, newfangled sound that he has made his own is certain to gain interest from across the world as it has with his already sizable army of fans.
